Halloween Harvest Festival at Pierce College  
This event in the San Fernando Valley includes daytime pumpkin carving and activities for kids with multiple nighttime scare mazes including the area’s only true corn maze haunt.  
Location: 20800 Victory Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91367
Dates: Festival and Corn Maze Daily Sept 23- Oct 31; Haunted House and Trail: Sept 23-25, Oct 1-2, 6-9, 13-16, 18-23, 25-31, 2011,
Hours: Festival and Maze Fri-Sat 10 am – midnight, Sun-Thurs 10 am -10 pm; Haunted House and Trail: Weekdays Dusk to 10 pm, Weekends Dusk to midnight.
Cost: Festival only $4, Daytime Corn Maze including Festival $10 Adult, $8 Child, Nighttime $12 single maze up to $25 for 3 nighttime scare mazes with festival admission. Multi-activity passes and ticket booklets also available.

Boo at the Zoo – Griffith Park
The Los Angeles Zoo is transformed into themed areas for trick-or-treaters with performances, pumpkin carving, crafts and creepy crawlies.

Scarium of the Pacific – Long Beach
The Aquarium of the Pacific hosts a weekend of magic, scary stories, crafts and a creepy coloring contest and children’s costume contest and trick-or-treating for kids under 12. They are also having a Family Sleepover Friday the same weekend.
